Cagsawa schedules, fares, terminals and routes from Manila to Naga, Legazpi and Tabaco.
Those two stops are the same — change one.
Opens a PHBus search for that city pair, so you can compare every operator on the road. Booking direct with Cagsawa is covered below.
Cagsawa Travel & Tours Inc. is a Bicol bus operator running overnight and daytime coaches between Metro Manila and the Bicol Region. Unlike many Philippine operators, it sells seats on its own website — but not for every bus it runs.
A city-pair search shows the departures on your road with their times and prices, so you can see how Cagsawa sits against the other Bicol operators before committing. Watch the operator name on each result.
Departures cluster in the late afternoon and evening for overnight arrivals, with fewer daytime trips. Holiday weekends in Bicol fill early.

Cagsawa’s own booking runs at cagsawatours.ph on the Easybus platform: choose your travel date, pick the trip and seat, enter your details and pay. GCash, Maya, Visa and Mastercard are accepted, and a text message plus an emailed voucher confirm the seat.
Student, senior citizen and PWD fares can be claimed during online booking — bring the matching ID to the bus.
Not yet sold online. Sleeper seats have to be reserved walk-in at a ticketing office.
Rebook through Manage Booking up to 24 hours before departure, or at any office under the counter terms.
Cancellations go through an office up to 24 hours ahead and carry a 20% surcharge; the service fee is not refundable.
Booking a sleeper bus? Do not start online. Cagsawa says the sleeper service is not yet available for online booking, so the only way to hold one of those seats is to walk into a ticketing office — the Manila-area numbers are listed further down.
One long corridor south: out of Metro Manila, down the Maharlika Highway through Quezon, then into Camarines Sur and Albay. Most trips end at Legazpi, with some continuing north-east through Malilipot to Bacacay.
The full southbound line. Trips ending at Legazpi stop one short of Tabaco; Bacacay sits on a separate branch east of Legazpi.
Cagsawa posts its live timetable on its own site, where the trip list updates as seats sell.
These are the offices Cagsawa publishes, with the mobile numbers it lists for each. Tap a number to call — worth doing before you travel if you need a sleeper seat or are checking a holiday departure.
Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange
The southern gateway out of Metro Manila, and the easiest terminal to reach from Cavite and the south.
Ticketing office
Cubao, Quezon City
The northern boarding point, handy from Quezon City and anywhere along the EDSA line.
Ticketing office
Arcovia City, Pasig
An Ortigas-side alternative to crossing the city for PITX or Cubao. It runs its own Tabaco and Legazpi departures at 6:00 and 6:30 PM, and its trip codes begin CGAR.
Ticketing office
Ligao City, Albay
Northern Albay stop on the way down the Maharlika Highway.
Ticketing office
Daraga, Albay
Closest office to the Cagsawa Ruins and the classic Mayon viewpoint the company is named after.
Ticketing office
Legazpi City, Albay
The main Bicol arrival point and the busiest southern end of the network.
Ticketing office
Tabaco City, Albay
Served on trips routed beyond Legazpi, and the jumping-off point for Catanduanes ferries.

Pick the right Manila terminal. Cagsawa groups its boarding points into NCR, CALABARZON and Bicol, so a trip advertised as “Manila to Bicol’’ might start at PITX in the south, Cubao in the north or Arcovia in Pasig. They are an hour or more apart in traffic, and your ticket names only one of them.
Every Cagsawa trip to Tabaco runs through Legazpi, so this schedule doubles as the evening Legazpi timetable. Times, classes and fares come from a live booking screen; seats and prices move, so read it as the shape of an ordinary evening rather than a fixed promise.
| Departs | From | Class | Fare | Trip code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4:30 PM | PITX | Royale | ₱1,400 | CGPT1630 |
| 5:30 PM | PITX | Royale | ₱1,400 | CGPT1700 |
| 6:00 PM | PITX | Elite with CR | ₱1,900 | CGPT1700 |
| 6:00 PM | Arcovia Pasig | Royale | ₱1,500 | CGAR1800 |
| 6:30 PM | PITX | Elite | ₱1,800 | CGPT1830 |
| 6:30 PM | Arcovia Pasig | Elite with CR | ₱1,900 | CGAR1830 |
Two things this schedule shows that no fare list will. The Tabaco run is an evening-only service, clustered between half past four and half past six. And it leaves from two different Manila terminals inside the same half hour: the 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM slots each have a PITX bus and an Arcovia Pasig bus, at different prices.
Trip codes are worth noting. Codes beginning CGPT are the PITX departures, CGAR the Arcovia Pasig ones. Quoting the code at the counter settles any doubt about which of two same-time buses you hold a seat on.
Cagsawa runs several seating tiers on the same corridor, and the gap between cheapest and dearest is wide. The Tabaco column comes from a live booking screen; the wider band covers shorter Bicol stops, where listings disagree and the operator publishes no fare table as text.
| Class | Layout | Manila → Tabaco | Shorter Bicol stops | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Royale | Two by two | ₱1,400 PITX · ₱1,500 Arcovia | From about ₱760 | The standard coach and the cheapest way down |
| Business | Two by one | Not on the Tabaco schedule | Roughly ₱900–1,200 | Wider seat, fewer passengers on board |
| Elite | Two by one | ₱1,800 | Roughly ₱1,100–1,500 | Top tier, without an onboard restroom |
| Elite with CR | Two by one | ₱1,900 | Varies by route | Same coach with a restroom on board — worth it on a twelve-hour run |
| Sleeper | Berths | Ask at the office | Ask at the office | Walk-in reservation only, not sold online |
Student, senior citizen and PWD discounts apply to these fares and can be chosen during online booking, with the ID checked at boarding. Note that the same Royale seat to Tabaco costs ₱100 more out of Arcovia Pasig than out of PITX, so your choice of terminal changes the price as well as the journey to the bus.
Each of these comes straight from Cagsawa’s own published terms, and each one costs money or a missed bus when overlooked.
You can book almost everything else online, but not the sleeper. Cagsawa states it is not yet available through online booking and has to be reserved walk-in, which catches out travellers who assume the whole fleet is on the website.
Student, senior and PWD fares can be claimed in the online flow, which is the opposite of most operators. Choosing a full-price ticket because you expected to have to queue at a counter simply costs you more.
PITX in Parañaque, EDSA Cubao in Quezon City and Arcovia in Pasig are all Cagsawa boarding points, plus a CALABARZON option. Read the terminal on your booking rather than heading for the nearest one.
Cancelling costs a 20% surcharge and has to be done at an office at least 24 hours ahead; the service fee never comes back. Same-day cancellation costs 30% of the fare, and a no-show adds 50% when you rebook.
Both get you a seat. Which makes sense depends on whether you already know you want Cagsawa.

Travel times assume a normal run down the Maharlika Highway; add time for holiday traffic leaving Metro Manila. Each card opens a search for that city pair.
The company takes its name from the Cagsawa Ruins in Daraga, Albay — the belfry left standing after Mayon Volcano buried the church in 1814, and still the most photographed view of the volcano. If the ruins are why you are travelling, Daraga is your stop.
What travellers ask most often about Cagsawa online booking and the Manila to Bicol run.
Yes. Cagsawa sells seats through its own website, cagsawatours.ph, which runs on the Easybus platform: pick a travel date, choose the trip and seat, enter your details and pay. A text message and an emailed ticket voucher confirm the booking. The same Manila to Bicol city pairs also appear on travel booking platforms if you want to compare operators.
The sleeper bus. Cagsawa states that sleeper services are not yet available for online booking and have to be reserved walk-in at a ticketing office. Every other class can be booked online.
There is no single Manila terminal. Cagsawa lists ticketing offices at PITX in Parañaque, EDSA Cubao in Quezon City and Arcovia in Pasig, and it groups its terminals into NCR, CALABARZON and Bicol. Check which boarding point your booking names before you travel, because they are an hour or more apart in traffic.
Yes, and this is unusual. Cagsawa accepts student, senior citizen and PWD discounts through online booking, where many operators restrict discounted fares to the counter. Students need a current-year student ID or registration form, seniors and PWDs their government-issued ID, and the ID is checked at boarding.
Plan on roughly eight to nine hours to Naga City and about nine to twelve hours to Legazpi, depending on which Manila terminal you leave from and how heavy traffic is on the way out of the capital. Evening departures usually run faster than daytime ones.
Cagsawa runs Royale, Business and Elite class coaches, plus sleeper buses on selected trips. Royale is the standard two-by-two seating tier, Business and Elite use a wider two-by-one layout with fewer seats, and fares rise accordingly. The exact classes offered vary by route and departure.
On the Manila to Tabaco run, which goes via Legazpi, a live booking screen showed Royale class at PHP 1,400 from PITX and PHP 1,500 from Arcovia Pasig, Elite at PHP 1,800 and Elite with an onboard restroom at PHP 1,900. Shorter Bicol stops cost less, with listings starting around PHP 760. Cagsawa publishes no fare table as text, so check the live price for your date.
The Tabaco service, which also serves Legazpi, is an evening run: departures observed at 4:30, 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30 PM, with both PITX and Arcovia Pasig sending buses in the 6:00 and 6:30 slots. Other Bicol destinations add daytime trips. Departure times shift, so confirm on the live trip list before travelling.
CR means comfort room, the Philippine term for a toilet. Elite with CR is the same two-by-one coach with a restroom on board, and on the Manila to Tabaco run it cost PHP 100 more than plain Elite. On a twelve-hour overnight trip that is usually the better buy.
The network runs down through Camarines Sur and into Albay: Naga City, Baao, Nabua, Bato, Polangui, Oas, Camalig, Daraga and Legazpi, with Malilipot and Bacacay beyond. Ligao, Guinobatan and Tabaco City also appear on Cagsawa route listings.
Cancellations and refund requests are handled at a Cagsawa ticketing office up to twenty-four hours before the trip, and carry a twenty per cent surcharge. The service fee is not refundable. Cagsawa also states plainly that tickets are non-refundable under its over-the-counter terms, so treat a booking as committed.
Online, use the Manage Booking link up to twenty-four hours before departure. Over the counter, the same deadline applies with a PHP 100 service fee if you cancel at least a day ahead, and the ticket becomes an open ticket valid for three months subject to availability. Cancelling on the day before check-in costs thirty per cent of the fare, and a no-show adds a fifty per cent surcharge when you rebook.
You are treated as a no-show, and rebooking carries a fifty per cent surcharge on top of the fare. If you already know you cannot travel, cancelling the day before costs far less than simply not turning up.
The booking platform accepts GCash and Maya as well as Visa and Mastercard cards. You receive a text message and an email voucher once payment goes through.
The company is named after the ruins, not the other way round. Cagsawa Travel & Tours Inc. is a Bicol bus operator, while the Cagsawa Ruins are the remains of a church in Daraga, Albay, destroyed by Mayon Volcano in 1814 and now the province's best-known viewpoint. The Daraga terminal is the closest stop to them.
Cagsawa publishes mobile numbers for each office: PITX, EDSA Cubao and Arcovia Pasig in the Manila area, and Ligao, Daraga, Legazpi and Tabaco in Albay. They are listed with tap-to-call links further up this page.
Cagsawa boards at Arcovia City in Pasig, on the Ortigas side of Metro Manila, and lists 0917 140 3660 for that office. It has its own evening departures to Legazpi and Tabaco at 6:00 and 6:30 PM, and its trips carry codes beginning CGAR. Fares from Arcovia run slightly higher than the same class out of PITX.
No. This is an independent guide written for passengers, with no connection to Cagsawa Travel & Tours Inc. The operator's own site, where you can also book, is cagsawatours.ph.
Ticketing offices, phone numbers, payment methods and every booking, rebooking, cancellation and discount rule on this page come from Cagsawa Travel & Tours’ own website, whose booking runs on the Easybus platform. Its live trip list is the place to check a specific date.
Fares and journey times are the weak spot: Cagsawa publishes no fare table as text, and third-party listings disagree widely, so those figures are given here as ranges and marked as approximate rather than quoted as fact.
Pick your stops and date to see which departures still have seats.
